Post Alumni Choice Questions
I'm an Alumni and got the letter tell me that I have that standing invitation. I'm sure everyone has seen those letters before. I just traveled the summer of 2007.
the letter says I have scholarship opportunities and Alumni choice? I went to the site and logged on to onboard but it's all still information on my last trip? The meeting I reserved to go says it's for my local delegations trip to Japan. Do I get to pick my trip after the information meetings? Does the site reset after the new meeting?

The scholarship opportunities could either apply for the Passport Club or the Awards given out by People to People.

The Passport Club is a club of the International Ambassador Alumni Society (IAAS) and every alumni is sent an invitation after their trip. If you pay $25, then you can be part of the Passport Club and able to have unique opportunities such as being able to go on alumni-only trips or Passport Club member only trips and receiving certain scholarships by writing essays, etc., or even getting letters of recommendation.

The awards given out by People to People include website of the year, Student Ambassdor of the Year, Special Correspondent of the Year, and Photo of the Year. You can apply for those awards until September 15 (correct me if I'm wrong). Information about applying for those awards is listed in one of your program guides. There is a category for grades 5-8 and grades 9-12.

Alumni Choice is being able to pick any trip you want to go on after you're an alumni. The meeting you reserved to go will be for Japan, but you can apply earlier online (I think? or just apply afterwards) and state exactly which trip you want to go on. People to People will then match you with a delegation leader that is the closest to you offering that trip.

no..u cant apply earlier. i emailed p2p  to ask if i can go with another delegation (im an alumni, too). and they said that i have to go to my information meeting first just to get familiar with it. then, you have to talk with the leaders about your trip choice, or you can just go to with the delegation from ur area.

Do you mean for the application, I haven't filled out an application since 2007, so it has been awhile I don't know if they changed it. But if it says choose two questions our of three, only choose two. You should never do them all, to the reader it can seem show offish, I learned that from filling out college applications.
